The 18 Kt. White Gold channel around the circumference of this lovely ring seems to protect its passengers. Indeed, that's what it does. Safe and sure in the wrapping of the radiant metal are 8 Round Cut Diamonds: each weighing in at .06 ct. - totaling nearly 1/2 carat. The center piece shown here is another Round Cut, but this one can be  between 1 and 2 Full Carats!

Although the White Gold used here reflects the brilliance of the stones involved, Yellow Gold can provide a nice contrast, should you choose that option. With the Platinum option, the shine takes on a nearly liquid quality.
